The Garmin GPSMAP 178C is available in six configurations:The single-frequency transom mount 200 kHz transducer is ideal if you do most of your fishing and treasure hunting in shallow waters off the coast or in inland lakes and bays. Available with a cost-effective internal antenna or an expanded-range external antenna.
The dual-frequency transom mount 50/200 kHz transducer is ideal for offshore boating. The dual transducer reaches deeper depths and with improved resolution. Available with a cost-effective internal antenna or an expanded-range external antenna.
The GPSMAP 178C is also available without a transducer in either internal antenna or external antenna mode if you prefer a bronze or plastic thru-hull transducer.
