Garmin designed a very good clamp for oversize handlebars. It installs on the bar securely, however the mount could be a little tighter since my mount rattles when the Rino is mounted. Con is the mount breaks off easily when riding on rocky or rough trails. One thing nice is that Garmin support replaces them at no charge.

Made of two hard black plastic pieces. It’s hinged on one side, with a single Phillips head screw on the other. The hinge pin, screw (looks like 8-32 x 1”) and recessed threads are non-magnetic and appear to be stainless steel. Comes with three different size rubber spacer pieces. All are 1” wide (the same width as the rail mount adapter its self) with lengths and thicknesses of 3.5” x 1/8”, 3.5 x 1/16” and 4” x 1/16”.
