Purchased the Nuvi 360 last December 2006. Received the Nuvi from TigerGPS promptly.
Setup was very easy. First used the Nuvi on a trip from Cleveland to downtown Chicago. Punched in the address of the hotel on Michigan Ave. and it took us directly where we needed to go. No trying to turn the wrong way down a one way street. We use it all the time and have not received faulty directions.
It has been late on a turn if you have been going slow and all of a sudden speed up and you are very close to the turn. Only happened once or twice that I remember. It recalculated and got back on track.
Have only used the detour function a couple of times, but it worked great. The database that comes installed has had every place that we have tried to find. If looking for most businesses and venues, it usually has them by name and you just hit GO and you are on your way. For things such as sporting events, you need to know the name of the stadium for example. Seems to be reasonably complete as is.
One nice feature is if you are looking for a nearby restaurant or gas station, you just look up the category and it will tell you what is around you and how far away. You can then insert your selection into your route as a waypoint and once you arrive it will get you back to your route. Very nice.
The Nuvi is in my wife's car most of the time. She uses it quite often and I haven't gotten the "tech support" phone call from her yet.
Bluetooth works ok. May work better if it had a remote microphone. I'm not a big fan of speakerphone in the car. Would rather use a headset.
The unit has a rechargable battery. It works just as well on foot as it does driving. It's great for finding the car after touring on foot.
I would highly recommend the Nuvi 360. May seem pricey, but the features and size make it worth every penny.
