I thought for sure my GPS would get damaged as it never stayed put with the suction cup. The friction mount was the answer to our problem, and I highly recomment it.

Exactly what I needed to put the GPS on the dashboard without using the adhesive disks that Garmin furnished. With this I can move it from car to car without a problem.

I purchased the Garmin Portable Friction Mount because I did not want something on my windshield. I also wanted to be able to move my Nuvi - well this thing is wonderful - I love it. This was the second mount I purchased and I would recommend this mount to everyone.

The Garmin Nuvi Friction mount is very convenient to use, much more so than the suction cup. It makes it much easier to set aside for security (don't have to leave the Nuvi exposed to thieves)

I purchased this mount after losing part of my suction cup mount that came with my Nuvi. I wasn't really happy with the suction cup (it popped off my dashboard in hot weather), but I was suspicious that the friction mount wouldn't really work. But after several long trips as well as around town use, I'm happy to report that the mount only moves when I want it to.

We had difficulty removing the suction cup mount that comes with the NUVI 350 as it stuck to the windshield on hot days and had to be peeled off. The friction mount eliminates this problem and stay put on the dasboard perfectly. Tiger GPS shipped this item promptly and packaged it well as we received it in perfect condition. Great product and great vendor!
