Garmin is pleased to introduce the new
GTM 12 FM TMC traffic receiver. This portable traffic receiver features a compact design with a new easy-to-install antenna. Using a USB connection, the GTM 12 delivers real-time traffic information to compatible Garmin GPS products. Garmin products will then alert the user to local traffic tie-ups, display graphical map symbols, and suggest alternate routes. The GTM 12 is currently compatible with the StreetPilot c340, StreetPilot 2720, StreetPilot 2820, StreetPilot 7200/7500, nuvi 350 and nuvi 360.
NOTE: The GTM 12 FM TMC traffic receiver will replace the GTM 11. For permanent installations, the GTM 10 is recommended.
Subscription Information
The GTM 12 FM TMC traffic receiver will come with a 15-month subscription to Clear Channel TMC. To renew a subscription, visit the FM TMC Traffic Service section on the Garmin Web site www8.garmin.com. Complete the steps to purchase a 25-character code and enter it into the Garmin unit. The cost for a 1-year subscription is $60.00. The GTM 12 will provide traffic services only in select cities where coverage exists.
