The new Garmin Travel Guide for nüvi is loaded with information provided by Marco Polo. These guides put in-depth travel information - such as reviews and recommendations for restaurants, tourist attractions, and more - at the user's fingertips. It even comes in a pre-programmed memory card, so it's good-to-go, right out of the box!

Users can look up particular points of interest by a defining category, find a restaurant or hotel based on rating. The information is provided in five different languages: English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

The Travel Guide is meant as an add-on to City Navigator Europe maps; it provides information on points-of-interest such as hotels and restaurants, but in order to navigate to the points, you'll need City Navigator pre-programmed cards or DVD-ROM.

This Travel Guide contains data for the following countries:

On a recent trip to Amsterdam in the Netherlands I found the product very good, although its content for food information (i.e. Burger King and McDonnalds restruants) was way out of date.
The places of interest was very good and I can highly recommend the Heineken Experience for families.

The guide installed effortlessly and has performed well. Reviews of locations is sparse,but useful. Not sure if it was really necessary to supplement what already is present in the Nuvi 670
