It includes a new LGC-3000 GPS antenna and new wiring capabilites, including the ability to be a radar, video or weather display as part of a LowranceNET system. The GlobalMap 9300C HD replaces the GlobalMap 7600C HD.

I had an older version of this unit on my last boat and loved it. Our new boat came equipped with a different brand of chart plotter and electronics package which I have learned to use but have never gotten comfortable with. I purchased and installed the Lowrance 9300 to serve as the primary chart plotter and could not be happier with my choice. It is easy to use and if you know it has a capability, it is easy to figure out how to do it with the menu driven functions. The screen is super bright and easy to read even in the brightest daylight. The only drawbacks are the screen is very easy to marr with any foreign material or touch. Also, the factory loaded maping software is great if you are on the highways but not really detailed enough for marine use. You still need the Navionics marine chart chip for what ever area you are in. I would buy it agian for my next boat.
