Easily attach your Magellan RoadMate to the interior of your windshield to hold it firmly in place just above the dashboard. The fully adjustable arm enables you to position your Magellan RoadMate at just the right distance and angle for convenient viewing and operation. Works with RoadMate 860T, 800, 760, 700, 500, 360, 300, 3000T, 3050T and 6000T.

PLEASE NOTE: To use this mount with a RoadMate 500, 700 or 760, an additional DUAL SLOT mounting plate, which was included with your RoadMate, is required. A single slot plate is pictured with the cradle below for reference:

The mount itself works great, however I can see that I'm eventually going to have the same problem that made it neccesary for me to replace the original mount. It's all plastic, the large nut behind the swivel head is plastic. Plastic expands and contracts then cracks, when it is adjusted to be tight and it's hot, the sun is shinning on it, it's black, then cools off and contracts the plastic nut cracks and wont tighten and hold anymore.

This mount fits well but it is long and rigid. Because the GPS unit is heavy, the mount end will eventually brake again and a whole new mounting arm will have to be purchased... again. Works well right now.

The mount was not made for the mounting plate screwed on the back of my Magellan Roadmate 300. However, I was able to use a hacksaw and remove one of the flanges and the remaining flange fit in the mounting plate.
