This is are first GPS. The Wife and I Love It. Before we go on a Trip somewhere, we touch the screen a few times and away we go. It gets us to wherever we decide to go. The Wife and I depend on it. A Excellent Product. The Wife and I would Highly Recommend this GPS to everyone.

My husband got this GPS for me because I can get lost in a box. I absolutely love it!
I am have a Mac. and unfortunately the CD is not Mac. compatible. (the only drawback) I would recommend it to anyone. Thx.!

My wife bought it for my Fathers Day present.
I tried it on our trip to Georgia and South Carolina, it worked perfectly. My son took a short cut and i used my GPS and was at his house 10 minutes before he arrived. It was my 1st time there. I love my gift.

I researched GPS units for 3 months so I knew exactly what I wanted and am very happy with the 3100, especially at $200. It works flawlessly and has some pretty impressive capabilities. It's easy to use and the NAVTEQ maps are extremely accurate. The one drawback is that it has a small POI database. I knew that but thought it was no big deal. Now I realize that many of the places I visit I do not know the address so I need to depend on the GPS to know the ballpark, etc. that I am trying to find (my son plays traveling baseball / basketball). However, I believe Magellan will enable upgrades of the maps / POIs in the future. Overall very happy.

Picked this up for myself a few days ago while it was on sale. I am very happy with it, but wish it had a few more features. So far there aren't any updates, and the 750K POI is a bit outdated. Some places are out of business and have been renamed.

Overall I am happy, but I wish they would update things quicker. Despite this unit being released in April 2007, the maps are from the 3Q of 2006.

Updates are needed, but it is good out of the box!
