This was the very first unit I ever owned and think it is a great unit. If you are a backpacker/hiker or hunter, this unit is all you will ever need. It is waterproof, very shock resistant and ALOT of usefull features. It is even a handy road navigation unit with the ability to upload streepmaps!. I actually had the entire Seattle metro area and Portland in the units small memory. My brother now has it (he is a cop in alaska) ind he has the whole state of street level maps on it. Plain jane but it's a performer. I miss it.
