With the
TomTom Permanent Docking Kit, you can make sure your TomTom GO turns on/off automatically with the engine, recharges by the car battery and uses your car's sound system for voice instructions by building it into your car. (*Note: For professional installation only)
The TomTom GO External Antenna is included, which is especially convenient for cars with athermic windshields. The Permanent Docking Kit contains all required components for the external antenna:
- Direct power charging from your car battery (12V).
- TomTom GO switches on/off with your car ignition.
- Very clear voice instructions over your car stereo.
- The car stereo will mute for the TomTom GO voice instructions.
- Day/night view of your TomTom GO can be set to switch on and off automatically with the headlights.
